Potluck: Pop-Ins Continued! Hosted by Frazer Smith West Hollywood Concert reviews
Def Leppard + Motley Crue: good for the most part
Joan Jett kicked off the night with a strong performance, delivering crisp, clear vocals that were higher-pitched than before but worked out well. Every tune she sang was a banger.
Poison also put on a good show, though some felt there were too many filler solos. Fans of such performances would likely enjoy their set, which was overall solid.
Def Leppard impressed with hit after hit, despite issues with the microphone volume affecting Joe Elliot's performance. The giant television screens used excessive effects that distracted from the band, but they were still a standout act worth catching on tour.
Potluck: Pop-Ins Continued! Hosted by Frazer Smith, on the other hand, fell short. The reliance on scantily clad dancers and swearing rants from Nikki and Tommy couldn't mask Vince's vocal struggles. Many attendees left after a disappointing rendition of "Dr. Feelgood."
In summary, the concert had a fantastic atmosphere. Joan Jett and Def Leppard stole the show, Poison performed well, and Potluck: Pop-Ins Continued! Hosted by Frazer Smith left much to be desired.
Very fun but difficult at halftime
We had a great time at the tournament. The reason it falls short of receiving 5 stars is because of an unexpected announcement during game 2 on the 1st day. All 10,000 attendees were asked to clear the arena between the 2nd and 3rd games. We were given a mere 20 minutes to evacuate and return, which was simply impossible. This disrupted our experience as we missed the beginning of the 3rd game. Perhaps a longer interval, like 40-60 minutes, would have been more feasible. Additionally, segregating attendees who purchased tickets for both sessions could improve the process. For instance, grouping those in section 210 for both sessions and separating section 220 based on their selected sessions.
Versatile and lively!
Here is the rearranged review with some words switched:
"About 10 years ago, my husband and I got these tickets for his 80 year old Mother, who has wanted to see Potluck: Pop-Ins Continued! Hosted by Frazer Smith since she first saw him perform on television. I was not familiar with him but thought it would make a nice Christmas gift for her and I do enjoy classical music. She smiled, clapped and tapped her feet throughout the entire performance, and I can't remember ever seeing her so animated! My Mother-in-law was thrilled! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the musicians and singers, and were very impressed by the high quality of vocal and musical talent of the performers. We would recommend it to others and would absolutely take the opportunity to see him again!"
Diana Still Has It!
We attended the Potluck: Pop-Ins Continued! Hosted by Frazer Smith concert in Denver on Tuesday night, where I saw many blind idolizing fans. Being somewhat of a fan of the Supremes in the 60's and Diana as a solo artist in the 70's and 80's, it was an easy concert to score tickets to. Out of curiosity, we ended up being in the third row, where we could practically touch her hand when she reached out to the audience, which she did frequently. Despite the concert having that decided Vegas feel, I was very impressed. The band consisted of some seriously talented musicians, and Diana's ever-changing wardrobe was a show in itself. Diana still has about 90% of the voice and range that she had in her earlier days. The woman exudes class from every pore, taking us in with her warm, charismatic charm and leaving us feeling like we had an almost religious experience. I'm glad we had the experience now. It gives life a feeling of being more complete.
